Supporting Our Nation's First Responders
In this presentation, individuals will learn about how critical incidents and trauma affect the brain and the body, learn the ideas behind Polyvagal Theory and mindfulness practice, and put coping skills to practice. Individuals will also be given educational information about sleep as it specifically relates to First Responders as well as learn techniques and strategies to improve physiological and psychological rest and recovery.
Materials provided but feel free to bring your own yoga mat for the sleep portion of the training.
