First Responders Foundation Kearney, NE Chapter

The mission of the First Responders Foundation Kearney Chapter is to serve and honor all our First Responders, Veterans and their families, build appreciation and respect for their work and enhance public safety.

The Kearney, NE Chapter is an extension of the First Responders Foundation. The Chapter is led by local community members who are best equipped to address the needs of first responders in the Kearney area. Funds raised here stay in Kearney and are used to further our mission. The Chapter partners directly with Kearney first responders and citizens to provide what is needed for local first responders, veterans and our community.

Two special showing of the film Code 9 Officer Needs Assistance will be held in Kearney in July.

July 18th for First Responders and Family Members Only.
July 25th the Public is Welcome and Encouraged to Attend.

The Kearney Chapter Supports

Kearney is a city located in Buffalo County Nebraska. It is also the county seat of Buffalo County. With a 2020 population of 34,390, it is the 5th largest city in Nebraska and the 1325th largest city in the United States.  Kearney is the Sandhill Crane Capital of the World! Every spring over half a million cranes gather in Nebraska’s Platte River Valley.

We Accomplish Our Mission By:

  • Recognizing and showing support for first responders, and encouraging respect and appreciation from the public.
  • Supporting first responders, veterans, and their families in handling job-related stress, trauma, and unique health challenges through programs, classes, events, and activities.
  • Creating and supporting unique programs and events designed to educate, inform and inspire the community and enhance public safety.
